NAICG型冲击电流发生器主要用以检验电气设备耐受冲击电流稳定的能力，广泛应用于氧化锌避雷器阀片进行冲击电流试验，气象防雷也可以用于其它研究性试验。

NAICG型冲击电流发生器可产生4/10us、8／20us、10／350us、18／40us标准冲击电流波形，波形的技术指标符合 和IEC标准的规定，产品通过部级鉴定，主要技术性能处于国内 地位，达到国际同类产品的 技术。
